Paid Advertising & Marketing Position

Thanks for your interest in helping Rekindle connect our sustainably handmade products to others who want to have a positive impact on the environment.

As we go into the new year, we're looking to expand our reach and one way we envision doing this is through paid advertising and marketing. We're ideally looking for someone with some experience in the field. It's valuable if you know how to track data and metrics especially in terms of conversions.

Investing in local media avenues such as sponsorships of local sports teams, high schools, and newspapers are also something we're interested in.

Job Description:
- Work with Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Google and/or local media avenues

- Create graphics and media for paid advertising and social media

- Create paid marketing campaigns across multiple avenues

- Manage and track campaign performances. Make necessary adjustments based on campaign performances

Starting Pay: Hourly (rate based on experience), Part-time, Able to work remote but we'd also love to see you in person every now and then :)

Skills Recommended:

- Some experience with paid advertising/marketing

- Be fun and creative with copywriting. We love adding our personality to our marketing

- Be able to budget spending across multiple marketing avenues

- Have good communication skills. Be able to communicate effectively with management as well as local media avenues

Class Instructor

Candlemaking classes have been one of our most popular offerings at Rekindle. We love making education fun and creative. What better way than helping people make their own custom candles?

Job Description:

- Responsible for teaching people about the candle making process while also educating them on the sustainability of Rekindle's candle making process
- Will require arriving around 30 minutes early to set up all class materials and cleaning up after classes. If classes go after store hours then employee must also close the shop up
- Represent the Rekindle brand and be able to effectively communicate our sustainability practices, recommend candle scents, and answer any questions about our company/products
- Enjoy socializing with customers and be able to check them out before or after class
- Classes usually take place Wednesdays (during the day) and Friday/Saturday from afternoon-evening. We also schedule private classes outside of this standard time frame.

Starting Pay: $12/hr

Skills Recommended:

- Be able to lift up to 35-40lbs.
- Have a reliable means of transportation
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Enjoy socializing + being around people
- Enjoy teaching is an added benefit!
